Welcome back to our agency profile series. Over a fresh coffee, we’re sitting down with our best and brightest to understand more about what drives the creativity in our teams, and what their daily grind looks like.
For National Apprenticeship Week, we’re shining a light on our outstanding Project Coordinator (and first year Apprentice) Anne-Marie Andonov. Anne-Marie talks about her leadership role in the agency, her positive approach to challenging projects and her favourite hybrid brand experience to date.
How do you like to start your working day?
An iced caramel latte is delicious, although in winter a hot chocolate is also a great way to start the day.
What is your most memorable brand experience or campaign?
Having the opportunity to work on the Vodafone Brand All Hands hybrid event was the highlight of 2020. It was challenging yet immensely rewarding to see the hybrid concept come together in a melting pot of creativity, technology, and client-firsts.
Tell us more about your role
As Project Coordinator, I work across many of our agency accounts assisting in detailed planning, execution, and supporting both client and internal teams onsite.
My favourite thing about my job is the variety: every day is different. I love that no two projects are ever the same and that there is always an opportunity to learn something new, either through a new client we are working work with, the scope of the project itself, or the talented professionals across our supplier network and team.
What are you currently working on?
I am working on an array of virtual and hybrid events, helping to put together project schedules and timelines, and assisting with meticulous logistics coordination. Digital experiences require different levels of planning, and we take special care to understand the audience experience and how to execute it seamlessly.
I am also one of the agency leaders for our social committee, which is really exciting. We’re in the process of bringing to life some new ideas for our remote teams to take part in.
Who would be your ideal mentor & why?
I was so inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore. The positivity and perseverance he embodied through challenging times are attributes I hope to always carry. I think his legacy is the perfect example of how small acts of kindness can have the biggest impact on people’s lives, and a daily reminder that we should do good for those around us.
Do you have a work mantra?
Not every challenge we face will have a clear path to the finish line, it’s about taking the time to figure out the best way to get there. To put it simply, trust the process.
